Using Security Cameras

Time Stamp Setup For Hidden Cameras

Here is a --> setup utility file to create a datestamp. This file works with multiple hidden cameras since they all use very similar internal electronics.
  1. Unzip and move the utility file to your desktop
  2. Plug in the camera
  3. Insert the SD memory card into the camera
  4. Run the utility
  5. Press Update (all the utility really does is create a *.txt file on your TF card with the date stamp syncronized to the time on your computer)
Note: with most hidden cameras you can also create/edit the .txt file manually using NotePad. The time syntax should be self-evident. The file naming conventions may be unique for each camera. Usually  the file is named time.txt or setdate.txt or userconfig.txt

The time stamp resides on you TF card NOT in the firmware of the camera. So, if you are using multiple SD cards you need to create a time stamp *.txt file on each card.
